(100 meters for adults, 50 meters for pups & newbies) 1 group race (optional, all dogs must wear muzzles) Weight pull simultaneously running with 1 of the following supervised activities : Vertical scale, Long jump or A-Frame competition. Pups under 12 months old are free but are limited to what they are allowed to do, older pups can be placed in the longer runs ect if owners wish to pay the £5 fee. Crates are useful if you have them although we do have a secure holding area for dogs that do not have them. Well fitting collars and strong leads are a must, if you have a spare lead then bring it along, makes life easier. Burger van with very reasonable prices and lovely food by the fabulous Kim will be in attendance for this day. Hope you can make it........... Next ACES day after this is 14th Nov 09 and it will be the last ACES day of the year, we wont be holding a day till Feb 2010 after that, seems ages but its not really that long with Xmas and all that stuff in-between. Group races results in order of placings Troy, Roxy, Ronnie (none finished) Banksie, Charlie, Harley Jal, Hoy Mookie, Bug Sky2, Lilly, Clyde Flo, Quest, Zoe, (Karma, Ripley, these 2 were in the group race but had no placings, unsure why) Lucy, Tina Pup, Nell Karma V Quest 3 X 100 meter runs 1st race Karma won with a time of 9.36 2nd race Karma won with a time of 9.31 3rd race Quest won (with a little help, lol, with a time of 9.48) Well done Karma, Tanya & Sam and thank you for being such good sports, Terry Quest had a ball and did his mum and dad proud! As we were let down on a challenge we ad-libbed and Pup Challenged Nell to an A-Frame competition, 3 x 60 seconds on the a-frame alternate. Nel = 37 Pup = 35 Nel = 39 Pup = 34 Nel = 39 Pup = 31 A huge congratulations to Nell who was superb at this challenge and won :mate: amazing to watch! Long jump Jal = 17 1/2 ft (again amazing to watch this dog jump!) Banksy = 13 1/2 ft Mookie = 13 1/2 ft Harley = 12 ft Clyde = 10 ft Charlie = 9 1/2 ft Tina = 9 1/2 ft George = 9 1/2 ft Ripley = 9 1/2 ft Roxy = 8 1/2 ft Quest = 7 1/2 ft Sky2 = 7 1/2 ft Pup = 7 1/2 ft Zoe = 6 1/2 ft Lilly = 6 1/2 ft Karma = 5 ft Lucy = 4 1/2 ft Blue = 4 1/2 ft Lots of novices on the weight pull, so well done to Blue, Blue (red), Diesel, Nell, Ronnie, Lilly, Harley, Roxy, Bug and Mister Fizz, all pulled an empty cart (264lb) Zoe pulled 1214.4 lb Charlie pulled 1214.4 lb Flo pulled 792 lb Karma pulled 475.2 lb Quote Link to post Share on other sites
