Lithium Battery Pack(Deben)

Has anybody tried the Deben Lithium battery pack if so would you recommend them??

my mate was lamping wid me last night wid his,we were lamping off the van so the lamp is on nearly constant his pack lasted 3 hrs and 20 mins wid a blitz lamp wid a 100watt bulb in.

yes mate - expensive but very light and you get a good few hours of shine with em, a friend s got one and really rates em. Ideal if you're covering alot of land on foot

Do they give you full power or does it start dimming after an hour(if you can understand me).

they sound worth the money if your on foot but i have heard you get no warning when they run flat , would piss you off if the lamp went off in the middle of a run!

Was thinking of getting one mate i also only use a blitz, at the moment i use a 17ah golf cart lump would this lithium last longer?

i think if ya put a 50 watt bulb in ya blitz you would get a lot longer out of a lith pack but i've never used the golf cart thing,the smaller bulb does'nt effect the beam.i get 5/6 hours ont back of van with a 14amp belt pack with a 50 watt bulb.

they are defo lighter than yer normal batts but i would say that the only advantage, i paid 140note for mine, and after a while it did lose abit of brightness, and waned off nearer then end then it did go completely off, i got about 5hrs with a 100watted blitz variable, was dissapointed with the fact it didnt stop full brightness all the way thru like it has been stated,

optics warehouse £113 plus vat and del brings it to a grand toatal of

£139.15, i got one they are spot on, looked about but found this was the cheapest, i was worried that it wouldnt last for a nights lamping but they are great,
