Paid 935
4 or 4.5 mph and tend to do 1 mile at a time, rest and another mile. You have to take it slow to start, just a little and often until the dog gets used to it. Mine doesn't really enjoy it though, and much prefers running alongside the push bike. So I wouldn't invest too much in one, encase the dog doesn't take to it, mine was only £50 second hand.

I build up to the speed fairly quick, all dogs have a different running speed, so you will see when it is comfortable for the dog, then stick to that speed until the mile is up. I use it once or twice a week, but it all depends really, as long as you have a few rest days about. Edited October 14, 2009 by Paid
