Tallyho 181
Can i just ask a few question ? How old are you ??? i only ask about your age , as ther are been lots of good talk and praise about many other types of lurcher on here so why not go for something else, is it gona be like a status thing , ooh look at me i got a big bullx ! dont get offended but there are too many young kids that have them now just to show off and dont really work or understand this type of dog. Have you ever kept lurchers before or will this be your first one ? If its gona be the first dog , then i wouldnt personally go for a bullx, get your self somthing that aint quite as haed strong , cause it will rule over you if you dont know what your doing. And then a dog you aint got any controll over can be bad news. Quote Link to post

Taffybull 48
my advice, if its your first dog... go for maybe a collie bull grey, that bit of collie will steady them up. alb and good luck with your future dog Quote Link to post

aidan 0
Thanks for the replys, it is my first dog, and it is definatly not a reputation thing. The dog will be worked, iv got the land and im going a countryside managment course at college. im really interested and not just looking for a dog to walk the streets and look "hard with" lol. I am really considering geting a collie cross, alot of members have advised this and it seems like a sensible thing to do. maybe when if got more experiance with a lurcher i can get myself a bullx Atb Aidan Quote Link to post
major1 6
it depends on what you want the dog for imo simple as that Quote Link to post
