Bilyboy45 0
Was just wondering if there would be any interest,in a few pups that i'll have for sale,in a month or so's time. Can post pix of sire dam and pups. These are some of the strongest pups ive ever reared.Possibly because of the Bull imput.I have 4 dogs, and a bitch. But will be keeping a couple back for myself. As i said.I was just wondering if there would be much interest in these beauty's.The sire is possibly the fastest whippetxgreyhound dog in ireland,as his kennelmate won the all ireland racing championship, owing to him busting a toe,in his heat. She has never got within 6/7 lengths of him, till that day,and now with the toe healed,it's more or less the same.Dam was very lightly worked,as she is still more or less a pup.She only ever seen one fox,and after a bit of a scrap, despatched it.She has accidently killed a few cats though, and will make a decent lamping bitch. She was accidently mated,as the sire cleared 2 high pens, and got at her.I wont complain though. As these are beautiful strong well put together pups. tricky micky 0
bust a toe racing on grass hardy dogs then, how they goin to get on in the field with feet like that.
Bilyboy45 0
bust a toe racing on grass hardy dogs then, how they goin to get on in the field with feet like that. As it happened. The all ireland racing champs was held in june, and the ground was brick hard, and as he ran tight,up along the wire fence, then he could have hit anything,in there.A dog going flat out up the straight, and puttin every grain of his being into every stride, over hard ground, tearin ligaments in a front toe,and still only gettin pipped by a nose,on the line, for second place in the final.Wonder how many dogs would finish a race, after doin a toe, never mind still goin flat out,and ignoring the pain.OK,so he's mainly a racing dog.Who only gets the odd run at rabbit,on the lamp,or with a ferret bolting them. Not too many will even let their racing dogs see a flippin rabbit, let alone run the lamp.I dont come on shoutin and mouthin what i do with me dogs, anyhow, and ive just come on huntin life a week r so ago.I have dvs,of my dogs lamping.I am willin to show these to anyone who wants to call at my home,to see them.Yes,i do the shows, all summer. That dont mean all my dogs ly at the fireside all winter. If there was ever a chance of a weak foot,on my dogs, then surely the imput of bull, would sort this out anyhow.I was trainin dogs 3 times a week, before the championships, and that was 3 hard runs, one after the other, without a break, over average ground, were i do a wee bit of lamping.Believe me.When a dog is going flat out, over 300yds,on average ground, then youre gona get the odd injury.I dont need to kill dozens of rabbits,so why should i.When there was money in rabbits.Believe me.I over killed, big time, and now we dont have enough rabbits for a good night out anymore.I learned my lesson, for being greedy, and overworking the dogs. Now,when i need a couple of kills, for the dogs,i just go out for half an hour or so,and get them.Just because im not out every other night,or whatever.Dont mean my dogs dont get any work.Im actualy looking forward to a few good runs at some long ears, when the growth dies down a bit.The mother of the pups is by no means a show,or racing bitch. But when she's weaned her pups.I'll take her out with anyone who wishes to see her in a field,or in cover.Another reason i dont do too much hunting is because ive a banjaxed knee joint, that needs replacing. But i still do what i can,or what i need to do.Anytime you want to see whats in behind any of my dogs ribcages. Then give me a shout, and i'll let you see.Dont under estimate, the fire in whippetx. They might just surprise you. Bilyboy45 0
This muppet doesnt work his dogs.SHOW DOGS.The showing seasons over for a year so now he can do f**k all with them but breed from them. This bitch was mated by accident, and is by no means a show or racing bitch....Even though i do all the racing i can.Dont mean im not entitled to have ones that work too.Ive only started doin the shows again, this past 3 years, after being away for 7/8,and i only went back to them,to prove a point.Maby some folk just cant take fact, that im still as good as i used to be.You must do the shows youreself.Sein as you seem to know what i do wey me dogs,in the summertime. At least they're kept in tip top order, all year round, and not closed up ,or shot. When they're not needed for 5/6 months. The other bitch, that i did put in pups, happens to be a greyhound. Not one of my racin bitches.Do you realy think that just because the dad is one of the fastest racin dogs ever in ireland, that his pups could not work. Most lurchers start their life, from a greyhound, that probibly never seen a rabbit,in its whole flippin life. How many collies are taken out to do rabbit, hare, fox ,or brock. But put one of these greyhonds, who never seen a rabbit in its life,to a collie, that never seen nothin but a heard o sheep, and you get summit that will work anything you put it to,and do it all bloody day,if its a goodun.Anyway.If ye know me in any way at all. Then you'll know that i dont do the shows, for the showing,as it's racin im into, and not someone elses oppinion,as to what a perfect lurcher should look like.My dogs do their own talkin, and thats the way it should be.So please dont judge me,or my dogs.Cause only myself knows,if their in their bed at night,or somewhere they shouldnt be.My dogs arent hard dogs.I dont need hard dogs, tey stand outside holes.waitin for a battle.Been there, done that sort of thing.Rabbits n hares are big enough for me now.Even it is only once a week,or when i need a few.I didnt advertise working pups, from working parents.I advertised them for what they are.No more.No less.If you dont like that. Then no ones askin you to look. When i had a hard lurcher or two. They were hard, and single handed too.I had a border terrier, who would fetch a grand or more now,if i had him.4/5 hours digs, and he never gave an inch.Lurchers bred from a Norfolk dog named Stryker, who took brock, single handed, before they were a year old.Not my game anymore. As i said.Been there, and done that. All pre bann.By the way.Racin seasons not over yet,so why dont you take a day away from runnin folks dogs down, and travel with the rest of us,to Co Tipperary next weekend.Try tellin some of the lads down there, who course all winter, and race too, that they keep shite.Youll not see Armagh again.I can tell you that much. There were 6 left in hospital, last time some headcase did.
