MIKE 18
I have run my Pajero on straight veg oil mixed with the diesel and as long as I don't go over a 60 -40 diesel to oil mix I do't get any problems, I have had to reduce the mix of oil in the winter due to the cold weather thickening the oil and starting up was a bit more rattley. I don't run on oil anymore due to the price but if I could get it cheap then I would do for sure, It's also great to get your car through M.O.T. as it reduces the emissions BIG STYLE I would check out any landrover forums to see if there are any possible problems before I put it in fella, I have been a member of the pajero forums for a good while and thankfully there was a bible full of info for me to read first, but be aware that eben after reading all you can your arse will twitch big style when you pour it in for the first time I especialy like doing the oil fill up in front of the local asda car park just to se the look on people's faces All the best Mike Cheers Mike, took the plunge about 3 weeks ago, put a mix of 50/50 running ok, no problems yetnd ive topped up evey week since.. Where are you getting your oil from fella ? is it used or new ? Mike

TOPPER 1,809
heating oil is just kero and doesnt give any upper cylinder lub if you run on it make sure you add oil to it or you will pay a heavy price , as for chip oil ive ran my cruiser on it and it runs fine but theyve cottoned on now and the price of it just anit worth it
mandog 37
You have a direct injection engine and this time of year even on that blend your doing you will get veg in the sump oil. Just make sure you oil change every 3000 miles or less keep checking the oil. Don't always blend either ring gumming is another issue. Good luck.
