Deker 3,478
I think we all know the glare is caused by the lamplight, but you will find that all of the above suggestions have a place and can help or solve the problem, including covers and matt blacks etc!! ATB Quote Link to post
jamie g 17
Plant pot What happened to having a basic foxing rig with no dangly bits or unnecessary add ons??It just so happened that due to the lack of space i couldn't fit the Lamp mount ring to the front of my old foxing outfit which just happened to have the shiniest moderator money could buy. The scope i was using at the time was a 6.5-20x50 MK4 tactical Luep which was used at all of the magnification setting without so much as an hint of glare. Why? well just look at the angle of the light housing its pointing well above the sight line and like i have already said previously illuminate the area above the target. I shot foxes from 20 yards to well over 250 with this set up with out the aid of plant pots, tape, spray paint, chopping the barrel or changing the mod.. Simply alter the round dial for height.. better still you could just get a ase and then it wont shine back in lamp anyhow Quote Link to post
