ruger 10/22 how to quieten the working parts.

i have heard of these stop pins that are covered in plastic, which stops the clatter from the recoil of working parts in a ruger 10/22 semi auto.

 

Has anyone used them ?what are they called? any other advice re making these guns quieter.
