Guest Defender Poacher
The best deer dog I heard about was 3/4 deerhound and I have heard that size is a big factor in a decent deerdog .....Its a pity its all in the past I would of loved to have seen it ....I wonder when the my mate had a 23" whippet cross dropping the fallow buck single handed post will appear here you go . the one i seen did not do it single handed, but it done all the work for about 6 minuits ,untill a bullx bitch and a brave person got on the seen to help out . it turned out to be a gold trophy head .and the dog was only 21inch whip x bedy . A dog holding a sheep till you get there to shag it doesnt count bah bah mare mare Quote Link to post

MNany dogs grab the back leg and flick the deer, each will have its own catching skill...... Well my dog use to catch deer by running backwards and grabbed them with its brown star now hows that for skill ?? My dog was called brownie Quote Link to post
