Guest dances
i think the technic is all on the dog, all ours would take them before the ban and have different methods. bullxs - grab and anchor, dont matter where it is and these types often get dragged. billy - grabs neck if he can but if he has to hell grab anywhere then switch to the neck nia - grabs the back leg and flips them turning and dropping all her body weight to floor Quote Link to post
desertdog 149
i grew up with an older generation of dogmen, and there was never any bullx in their kennels, saluki, deerhound , collie x, and they relyed on how game their dogs were, and bred accordingly, keeping only the best for that job, others they kept for bunnies, and hares, and of no real size, 25 to 28ins, 60 to pound dogs, but then times were different, no mobiles, or helicopters , or night vision to worry about, im not goin to name drop, but one lad kept, gsdxgrey and nearly wiped out a rare herd in a park with these, and also suffered the convictions. THE STIFFMEISTER 15,696
: Some really interesting comments guys... I see a lot of wild deer, Roe, Fallow, Sika,.etc...often on a daily basis,..and to be honest,.as a humble catcher of rabbits, they can sometimes be a wee bit of a fecking nuisance However, as a life-long fan of the running dog types,..it is good to hear how other lads are doing, and how they go about things... I have found that the exciting chat regarding the taking of various deer species can often produce the best in a hunting man,.but alas,...it can also the bring out the worst All the best,.CHALKWARREN... AMEN Quote Link to post
