davyt63 1,845
How long has .20 cal rifles been around and why isnt there much choice in pellets ?To be honest iv never had a .177 rifle before and for some reason im sceptical about them as a hunting rifle, i think its just the difference in pellet size that always puts me off. F*ck it think il go for huntsman in .177 :headshot:: hi migmog NICE!! CHOICE you wont go wrong with .177 as long as you can get tight groups, before you start dispatching bunnys, most of my last post's this last couple of months have been using a .177 but if you do go .177 you will see for your self? dont listen to peeps who dought the .177 for hunting its all about p.o.i i took a bunny @ 43yds out right, not a twitch with .177 i also use .22 as well so as i said its all about shot placment!! regards davy Quote Link to post

It shoots like a dream. Straight out of the box it was doing 11.6 and once Id scoped it up and zeroed it it was doing pellet on pellet out to 40 yards. A few weeks ago I bought a HW100 in .177 and although it is a great little gun my S510 is definately more accurate. For me until I get my FAC I will be sticking with .177. Quote Link to post
