iam going on holiday for the week end in november the mrs taking me away for my bday and we going to keswick i was just wondering if anybody would help and say what fish are in thier i have fly tackle and enjoy a spot of pike fishing thanks for reading chaps, sm

av had 3 18 to 20lb pike out of there if i remember right you av to buy a day ticket out ov the shop in village hope you get some

if iam right not suer witch 1 cos there is 2 lakes there forgot what other 1 called but if derwent water is the 1 with the caravan site at the top end of it then you can buy ticket from there as well and were the river comes in to the lake say if you walk down from the pull in at side road near caravan site when you get to peddle part look over say to you left were river widens out there is a clump of reeds about 20yrds out in water thats the area iv caught from

 

over near boat area on same side were water is near road av had nowt from there but other people have

 

if water up then floods easy and hard to find peg

think iam right in that water but if there is a caravan site at top ov lake then iam hope you get some
