Think you call that a mongrel mate......... Another muppet putting someone down. He's asking for the best cross No shit sherlock..... and pray tell, what is the best cross? Shall I tell you mr know it all? The best cross is the one that suits him, no one else. There are several different crosses for a reason. Everyone swearing by their chosen one. Just read the replies on here ff's. Now, I've read plenty of errr advice.... get a collie cross, get a saluki... bedlington.... greyhound cross cos whippets are peeesh....blah,blah, fart, scratch, de blah........... ALL the wrong advice....... Yeah the guy is excited cos he's allowed to get a lurcher and believe you me, his life is about to change once he gets said dog. Hunting gets under your skin, its with you for life.... We are talking about a dog here, a living creature. Can't get that on a whim..... First thing he needs to do is work out what he expects from his dog and take it from there...... Read up on crosses that will work for HIM. So, you tell me stewy, what is the best cross for him? Ha, Ha,What you have to say is in my opinion quite correct, however I think you could be a little more "polite in the way you say it".My cross would be 3/4 whippet /collie x whippet/greyhound but what ever lurcher you get I hope its a good one.P1 Quote Link to post
