Hi my mum has finally let me have a dog but in afew months because i need to buy a shed and get it all ready.

I was thinking of getting greyhound x whippet x saluki x collie x bull but wanna know what you all think

why dilute the whippet blood they are faster as a pure breed and exellent rabbiting dogs day or night .. the beddy in them can make them yappy if they are struggling on a rabbit

Look out for a first cross collie x greyhound mate,,you wont go far wrong, its a safe bet ,,they will lamp well, work with ferrets well, and some do other stuff too, good alrounders mate, great first lurcher to have.

my experiance with the 1st x collie grey has bin that they are absaloute spot on to train, but as soon they come of age, they over think things to much. picky with runs ect. but thats just the one bitch, but very easy to train and also very loyal cross, but just a bit to much collie for a first dog maybe?

go for a nice whippet x mate like the lads have said here already regarding all crosses they are bang on but start off with a nice beddy x whippet or bull x whippet imho move on to the big boys and girls after a while

Are you getting it to (mainly) work alongside your ferrets? If so I'd consider something like a beddy/whippet.

You'v been reading to much shyt on here lad! I think what you mean by this is you want a greyhound, a whippet, a saluki, a collie, and a bull but the thing is your mam wont let you have 5 dogs so you want them all rolled into one dog and you can tell your mates you have 5 dogs :11: .

Go it your self dont ask advice off here theres a million & one lurcher experts on here and about 5 who know what there actually talking about the rest talk utter shyt TRUST ME ON THIS ONE!! One lad one dog one partnership!!
