Natasha i agree they may be more expensive but at least you get better cover, but I'd check first as recently I've heard of people not being overly impressed. i will watch this post as mine is due in Feb so it'd be nice to see whats out there. j davies 8 Posted February 24, 2010 Report Share Posted February 24, 2010 i am struggling to find someone that will insurer my lab and would be gratful if anyone can recommend someone if your working your dog mate you need it i pay £70 a month for my 2 cockers worth it as last year my pup got a wasp sting she was in vets for 4 days all it cost me was 50 but the bill come to over 600 for tratment and that i no they charge more when your dog has it Quote Link to post
activeviii 8 Posted February 25, 2010 Report Share Posted February 25, 2010 tesco's. he is not a working dog but a gun dog. a working dog in there mind is a guard dog or sniffer drug type. so a gun dog is a shooting companion. so what the differance between walking him in the country with a gun or a stick. if you say he might get shot then the one that has shot him is at fault and coughs up. if its you that shoots him then either you shouldn't have a gun or the work hasn't been put in to the dog.lol. I have basic pet insurance and then my SCAS covers him if he was to run into the road whilst out on a shoot or causes an accident whilst working. Phil. Quote Link to post
