Sparsholt College

Recommended Posts

The Keeper who i work with went to Sparsholt and he highly recomends me going there. I am anticipating going there because i am hoping on getting a job at the end of it.

Qualifications dont mean you will get a job at the end of the course. When i was looking for a keepering job after going to college i found that i may as well not had done a course as all people look for is experience

good luck

your not the only one

It was brilliant! I'm deffinately going there if i can get in, the Tutor said i should get in with my grades and experience. It's the best college i've ever viewed, but the rules are a bit twatish. I should realy enjoy it, i can't wait to go.

hi, i was there today aswell.. did you do the tour around the deerpen and past the rearingfield and lakes?

if so what time and i may have seen you.

if so my mum was asking shit loads of questions and my dad kept sneezing.LOL

I have had many discussions whith my mum (she wants me to be a Doctor) but overall i have decided on going to Sparsholt to study GameKeeping and Wildlife managment. I am going tomorrow for the openday, it's about 2 and a half, 3 hours away from me. I'll tell you how well it goes. I know now i definitely want to do something keeper orientated.

Anybody else ever been to Sparsholt College?

Thanks'

Listen to your mother for fucks sake. Go out, learn how to be a brain surgeon, make shit loads of cash, then you can afford to play!

People say money aint everything, well trust me, you cant do f**k all without it and you wont have much dicking about gamekeeping...

If i could start again, i would do it all different, get a decent job, then once you have made a decent pot of cash, then feck about for the rest of your life!

My hearts in GameKeeping, i would much rather be outside then cooped up in a room. Money isn't everything, aslong as i have enough to get by then i'm not fussed.

Are you deffinately going on the gamekeeping and wildlife managment course? I didn't bother going for the tour lol. There wasn't much point in it lol. Do you have experience? Martin the tutor was telling us you NEED experience to get on the course lol, i should be alright but there was loads of people there who had no experience at all lol. One lad has only ever done night fishing lol.
