9 shots, BSA R10

Yes Davy,

The reason that i use metres instead of yards is because, in Jan 91 when i joined the forces i trained and qualified first as a surveyor.

The maps we used were all in kilometers and metres.

We still use kilometers today so the metre as become my standard means of measurement.

1 meter = 1.093613298 yards so 30 metres is 32.80839895 yards.

I also find that a 30m / 33 yard rounded up gives me a good trajectory and works well with my mil dot system.

I think ive converted 3 other shooters from this forum, Wuzzy, Reggaeman and Festa to 30 metres and it also seems to work pretty dam good for them too looking at the bags they get ;)

Si
