sandymere 8,263 Posted October 9, 2009 Report Share Posted October 9, 2009 the answer could be very simple or complicated looking at soluble and insoluble fibre, it's not there as energy as such. your best bet is to google it and find a site that gives the diet info that you are interested in at a level that you understand or get a book out of the libray on dietetics. There is no real fibre in meat so domesticated dogs which aren't eating the varied diet that wild ones do will need some fibre added to their complete dog food.
