Muslim children can be excused from assemblies as they are Christian practices. They can wear there religious jewellery when a Christian child cant wear a crucifix. You go to the school and tell them that you don’t want them to give your child books for homework that are about Islam and there religious views tell them that you want them to give him books witch are educational and can teach him lessons in life and British ways. If Muslim children were given Christian books there would be out rage claming it is offensive to their religion and it would probable make the evening news.

You have as much wrights as them tell the school this is not on and things have to change. atb bedrock

i agree bedrock, but what would happen if i kicked up a fuss...id be a rascist :wallbash:

relegion should be a personal choice........and when your old enough to make your own decisions.

i personally choose no relegion and the fact we had it rammed down our throats at school probably helped me make that decision.

god bless

Now we tend to blame any problems on imports, dishwasher breaks down and its "fecking taiwan crap", car breaks and its "fecking japanese crap", shite on tele and its "fecking american crap" WELL big fat ugly women that appear to be mulitplying by the thousands every day! I say "too much fecking KEBAB crap"

They should be forced to wear hoods or paper bags over thier heads until they become pretty or loose some weight... So on reflection i think YES the mudslides have a point :D

the first school i took my boy to 3 years ago didnt allow a traditional christmas concert instead it was disney themed,(aladin) the christmas dinner wasnt turkey but halal chicken he was moved out of the school one month later, why should my children be disadvantaged??? I have no quarms about the way other people live just as long as its not affecting me or my children
Thats down to stupid labour councils that run these areas and are intent on ramming their culture down our throats wether we like it or not wat they dont realise is that its causing more divisions amongst people from different backgrounds. One instance in rotherham recently the council allowed muslim children an holliday from school to celabrate the end of ram a dam wile non muslim children had to to school now if that isent causing division in young minds i dont no wat is.Then the labour party wonder why the B.N.P are having success in these areas. :wallbash: atb dell

I'd rather my kids do an extra hour of Maths, English or History (our history) rather than listen to how Islam is a religion of peace and morality and all of the other shit they teach in RE.

In saying that, even though I've not got any time for the majority of Muslims, a child broadening his/her knowledge in most things can only be a good thing.

Very true, i like to learn about different cultures as i would my children to, but on a balanced level

Exactly.....we should all have the CHOICE to learn about different cultures IF WE WANT TO..........but forcing kids to learn about different cultures is all part of this forced integration that is the bottom line of all this....in todays times we are forced as a nation to integrate whether we want to or not....and some of us dont,so naturally it is always going to cause problems for as long as its happening.

Aye 'tis a very different country today compared to the one I grew up in...political correctness gone 'kin mad!

A couple of years ago I got into a spot of trouble at work following a complaint from a fellow employee of a middle eastern persuasion, who apparently was offended by a piece of jewellery that I had worn for years. The item in question is a mjiollnir(or 'thors hammer') pendant, which as a pagan has significant meaning to me, its always been my good luck talisman...

I was called into the senior managers office and told in no uncertain terms that if I did not immediately remove the offending item from about my person then I would have to leave the premises and would be suspended from work. The manager at work had apparently done some 'research' on the internet and came to the (incorrect) conclusion that the pendant was a symbol of racial hatred. Now, I have worked for this company for 15 years without having so much as a warning and an absolutely flawless disciplinary record. The muslim chap had worked there for a year or so.

Anyway, I decided to make a stand and refused point blank to remove the pendant, I even tried to explain to the manager the significance of the symbol in the pagan religion, but it went straight over the guys head...so like a naughty boy at school, home I was sent.As a parting shot I said they would hear from my solicitor. Two days went by, then I received a phonecall from the managing director to tell me that I could come back to work and that they would pay me for the 2 days off...result!

Just a typical example of the way political (in)correctness is screwing up this country...'Great' Britain...aye, right!...this country, the united kingdom is quickly becoming the UNTIED kingdom.
