What was youre ISO set at,and did you try locking youre auto focus.Or dont you have that option,as i cant remember all the buttons on youre camera. Was it a dull/very dull day.As this can make an awful difference. What was working a couple of weeks ago.Wont work now.As the lite has dropped off something terible lately.Could you go into youre imfo menu, and look up the camera settings,as i dont know which settings you were using.Canon's have that unwanted fixed ISO,when sports mode is selected.Something that Sony, and Olympus have sorted out.Dont know about Nikon.Im usualy stuck with ISO 400,on sports mode.Which is a pain in the ass sometimes. What lens are you using at the moment, and what was youre Arperture value. You should be trying to shoot full open,if youre using a 75/300,and keep it to as near 75 as posible, for best results. You can always crop back.Something around 4.5/5.Try shooting AV,ans see what shutter speed it allows.Could you post,or pm me a couple of the photo's. Hope you can understand some of this giberish stuff.I know i couldnt, for quite some time.Imean photo imfo. sorry. Not cam settings. Whats the histogram like.

I dont know what iso it was on & it wasnt the brightest of days , i did think maybe it was the light that was contributing to the problem
