200yard longnet wot2do????

hi, after many years of rabbitin me n my pal av decided to purchase a longnet, we ended up with a 200 yard beast..............unfortunataly it required the runner band and the poles, which isnt a problem but, as we dont do massive sets do we really need a 200yarder and is it worth cuttin down into a couple of 25s,a 50 and a 100??????

You could do a whole county with 200yrds, if it was mine I would cut it down to more usefull lengths, and get a couple of stop nets from it too

I would cut it down to 100yrds a piece at least, otherwise if it tangles you will throw it in the shed and never use it again! 200yrds is really hard to handle and very heavy especially if its a 6z

just a question "is it 400yds of net to make 200yds or 200yds to make 100yds of net both with 100% bagging" that you have bought?

well i just bought it at a game fair, and it was labled up as a 200yard long net. but i reckon your right it will be 200yards of net, givin me about 100 yard once set!!
