ArchieHood 3,692
hi matt, the pellet might not be fireing cleanly out of the gun, catching somewhere in the silencer Quote Link to post
yellow belly 0
ok, but my mate put that silencer onto his rifle this afternoon without it changing his zero! (sorry forgot to mention that he only brought it this afternoon) so maybe its th pellets, as we use different pellets? any other possible reasons? Quote Link to post
ArchieHood 3,692
dunno, maybe one of the other guys on here can throw some light on it Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
Just 'cos it fits your mate's gun does not mean that it'll fit yours. As has been said, it may not line up with your gun and the pellet may be catching the mod on it's way out. Also what gun are you useing? The point of impact will change with any airgun but it'll change far more if you're useing a spring gun than with a pre-charge or CO2. It's the way the guns recoil that matters. Cheers. Phantom 631
Its quite normal for a silencer to change the POI when fitted to a gun. And yes it can be thrown out by inches My S200 was pinpoint in the bull at 35 yards with the AA Silencer Put on a custom made job and POI shifted by over an inch left and 2 high. No clipping at all. Reset the scope's zero to take the new silencer into account. Not looked back since custom silencer is superb Phantom Quote Link to post
