zini 1,939
Hi guys, I went out for an hour today after dinner for a walk around some of my permission. The sun was shining and the vermin were in abundance. I wanted to try my new MD80 micro camera fitted to my gun. The first shot came after about 5 minutes when this corrid was sat with its pals on the old air field. It looked pretty chilled out and not worried about me being in pretty close proximity to it. I lased him with my Guntuff laser range finder and he was at a comfy 31 metres. I just put the cross hairs on his brain and squeezed off the trigger. No1 in the bag. The second shot was on the bunny. That was again lased. It was sat at a mere 14 metres thinking that it was hidden from me. With the cross hair 1 mil dot ish hold under No 2 went in the bag. The third shot was when i was ambushing squizzers. The woody came in for a feed of pheasant feed. I didnt have time to lase him but estimated him being about 25 metres up in a big tree just waiting for the all clear before swooping down to rob the pheasant wheat. A quiet thock from the R10 and No3 was in the bag. The first 2 shots were captured on the new MD80 and added to my DVD. The third shot couldnt be made out due to the leaves still on the trees. zini 1,939
Yes guys it takes full video footage and its not bad quality too for a little guy. The files are digital AVI files so it can be played straight over your PC. The camera comes with a 4GB card or you can opt for the 8GB for a few £ extra. Look on YouTube and you will see the footage there that i shot yesterday with it. Just do a search for MD80 Shooting. The quality is good enough for what I need it for as long as you dont have a massive video viewer. The hyper link to my footage is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahf6K5-KgvM Thanks for the nice comments guys and yes i like my gadgets. I have to buy them before the wife buys her shoes LOL. Is that what it is Stealthy1? A rook. I never can tell what they are so i just call them corrids. Ive looked on the quarry list and your right its a rook http://www.airgunshooting.co.uk/expertadvi...ails.aspx?id=98 I cant wait for tonight Chris. I hope that i get some good footage for the DVD, Ive played with the DVD over the past couple of days and removed some dead wood and replaced it with some quality footage and a session i did with Dylan shooting ferals at work.
