so yesterday tea time bailey was in the garden .and the kids kept knocking on the door can you get our ball out your back yard i said yeah .got it about 8 times for them in the end i said if it comes over again im not getting it as me and the kids were having our tea .so a knock at the door came again this kid said if it goes over can i jump over and get it. i said no becuse bailey will go for you even tho he is only a pup he will bite you .so sat down with the kids eating our tea and here bailey going nutts in the back yard he has this 7 year old kid pinned by hes legs .he didnt mark the little lad just scared the shit out of him .

the kids dad said he would break baileys neck if it goes for hes son again but why should i be treated like shit when hes son was in the wrong .now my back fence is 6ft high he said hes mates helped him over so how was the little lad gona get back out my yard  now my dad said leanne bailey is 17 weeks old now and getting a bloody big dog .he has a nasty bite on him when he does nip at times .but my dad said the young lad had no right in our garden

but i feel so sorry for the little lad .but my dad said dont you dare feel sorry for him you gave him chance after chance to listen to you and he didnt so bailey was protecting the house and garden !

a pup of that age is more than likely playing and because of poor training hasnt learned bite inhabition so he is playing to roughly ... if not then the pup is displaying a bad nrevouse/fearfull trend which is resulting in him biting which doesnt bode well for the future .... i doubt very much that the dog is guarding in the proper sense ... even the guard types wont be showing human aggression at that age as they still have puppy brains and just want to play .... however at the end of the day it was your garden it was secure and the kid shouldnt have climbed in ..............

Mistake you made was saying that the pup," Might go for you". Bit like admitting that you know it is dangerous . Had you said that ,"The pup might get excited or jump up ". Or something similar you 'd be on better ground .

The kids should not have come in your garden . You'd been reasonable by letting em have their ball back several times ,told em enough was enough and that should have been the end of the matter .

Whilst you cannot legally keep their ball(unless it has caused damage .In which case it can be held until any damage has been payed for ), they have no right of entry to retrieve it .

The father has made threats against your property (ie the pup). The kids are causing a nuisance and tresspassing and all your pup is guilty of is a bit of playfull enthusiasm .

Might be worth taking a few pictures and even video film if the little buggers start climbing over or winding the dog up again . If the worse comes to the worse you'll need to prove that you and your pup behaved in a reasonable manner and that it was the kids and their dad who was causing trouble and being a nuisance . Hopefully it'll all calm down though . Good luck
