well decided to gan for a quick hour the nite so gfot ther 5.50 was going to fish one pool with the fly as water had been up on sat but had dropped back in so got started 10 mins later the rod went over into a fish got it a big grilse aboot 7lb cock fish so phoned my mate to rub it in said i would phone if i got any more 1 minute later the pull lifted into another one got it aboot 6lb ish so gave him a phone so a bit further down another pull got the best fight of this one a fish about 6lb ish again then a bit furter down the rod went again thought this was my lucky day but it was a brownie got them on a cascade size 14 tyed by myself on my wee salmon rod 12ft6 got the 3 fish within half an hour of each other so a hour well spent none of them were clean so all went back the eggs better in the riverbed than the wheelie bin

is that 2nd fish as thin as it looks?? over the last few years the rivers up here in the north east have produced some very skinny specimens... well done

no just think it was the way it was taken there not like the ones we had a few years ago they looked like kelts
