ive seen all x lurchers take all game big small etc. Ive also seen some big dogs back away when the going gets tough. So in my opinion its the individual dog and careful breeding.

well said mate what suits me might not suite the next man at the mo i got a colliegreyhound bullgreyhound and she gives 100% cant ask no more its what you want that counts my mate got a little bitch wippet bull type 23 tts and so game she must think she 29 tts :clapper::clapper:

Them stags from usa, they kill yotes 30-40lb. If we had them here they could handle anything we got in this country. :yes:

 

we do have them here, maybe not quite in the same form, but we have plenty of big game dogs. after all the yank dogs are originally imported arent they, so somewhere along the line our dogs have the same blood. i saw a lurcher at a fair a while back, as big as a deerhound (saw quite a few of those about too) and apparently doing well enough on rabbits and everything else. owner wasnt bragging, just telling it how it was. i doubt the usa dogs are much bigger, and if they are then they would struggle at being allrounders.

 

well bred beddy grey for me....maybe a pair of them....
