at no point do i kiss em.

is it a Scottish thing? :hmm:

Not expecting you to 'kiss 'em', mate...................I was making the point that if you've kept ferrets for over 50 years, then you'd surely have more knowledge regarding them than to refer to them as 'nasty little b*****ds'? Not much respect shown for the wee beasts,is there?

Or maybe you're one of the 'old school' that reckon it's the done thing to 'cull' your ferts at the end of the season to save wasting your time & energy feeding them through the summer? ;)

Iv got ten ferrets and they're all handled daily and the only time they bite (well mouth) is when they're playing and dont bother when working either.
