A FEW HOURS WITH THE RIM FIRE

Recommended Posts

i decided to have a few hours with the rim fire sort of getting my eye in for the start of the season. Fox hunter phoned and we were on our way at 10.30pm .

There was no wind at all up on the fields we were shooting  and the impact of the hollow points were really loud this pushed a lot of rabbits forwards and it was a job getting a good head shot oppertunity on stationary rabbits  but we got a few heres a few of the pics 66 in all and even Foxhunter managed to shoot a few a good night but the wind let us down still not a bad start with the rifle

We were using my Ruger 77/22 bolt action , very accurate :) We had a good night even though the night was very still ,not a breath of wind.

Woodga even managed to drive his new 4x 4 quite well :tongue2: Just waiting now to take off the L plates :laugh::laugh:
