theres plenty saluki cross about you just need to go to the shows and ask

If your wanting a good worker, shows arent really your best way to go mate :D not all people who go to shows work their dogs, theres a few who go just for the craic and who like to win rosettes, they may talk the talk but if you want a worker, your better to go out with someone who keeps working dogs and see the dogs run and then book a pup off them if you like what you see. Meeting someone at a show is no guide to how well their dogs do in the field, the only way to suss that out is to see the dogs run, or on video at the very least :good:

If ye get a pup from proven working parents it is still no guarantee that the dog will come good.More likely ,yes, a lot of the good dogs are good because their owners are good dogmen and know how to bring a dog on properly.

IMO :p

Its no guarantee andy your right there mate ............... but its the best starting point to set you on the right track :p:D

Id rather have a dog from proven working parents than show stuff anyday, regardless of breed. :good:
