Was just wondering how everyone's first week end of the Pheasant season has gone.

Our little rough shoot was spoilt by all the wind, we have been tripping over them all Summer, but now the season is here, we only saw 2 and both were missed.

We got plenty of vermin though, the crows were giving themselves up, i think it was the low strong sun on Sunday morning.

How did you get on ?

Dave.

We've never shot yet, but we've had some c k head in stealing partridge. There callin card is to leave 3 or 4 dead ones with the heads pulled off.

Fern was really getting into the hunting and looking really keen, which i wanted but i thought it was time to call it a day, before she got to excited.

End of day was a bit dark, sorry

All in all it was a good hour with allot happening, i think Fern learnt allot without loosing her head, but its back to training for another week or so before our next outing.
