whatever cross you choose is your choice bud my cross might not suit you or the ground you run. Best way i find is see the sire and dam graft first then your chances will be higher. Just be carefull there is some shit about aswell. Good luck in the choice you make.

alright mate, i'm from belfast aswell if i were you, and i'm not so take from this what you want, i'd get a three quarter greyhound quarter bull. simply because there easy to enter and will work best on or ground over here.

I would suggest largely ignoring the cross, look for the best litter you can find from the two best working dogs. No good getting a pup from a substandard litter just because its such and such a fashionable or supposedly good cross.

Anyone who claims to be able to tell you what the 'best' lurcher cross is. . . . . is a total f*****g moron.

nothing wrong with deerhound crosses as a type you just need to know what blood is in them so you don't get shite - like any other type of dog, you also need to be patient due to develpment let them grow into their legs etc

i have a deerhound cross and i'm more then happy with her, grand dog

very true, different types of dogs suit different people and quarry and running ground

it all depends on you and how much you want to do with the dog i no its hard to get trust in people but have you got mates with dogs try and go out with them and see the differnt dogs work and you will get a better idea what your after alb malc
