Looks good mate ;) just a few questions

How did you fix the dimmer unit to the handle?? Are the connections in the dimmer unit soldered or screw terminals?? Also how are you getting on with the filter the way it is??

Sorry for all the questions but you have got some good ideas there, just wanting to know if they're any good in the field ;)

The only awkward part was cutting the hole for the dimmer switch, once done though it gives you easy access to the wires...the dimmer switches are already wired so all i done was put connectors on and connected straight up to the wiring from the bulb holder....the filters i,ve allways done like that, cut off two of the tabs just leaving the top one, push on tight making sure you get no glare from round the edges then hinge it....i always spot with the red then flick down and run on the white, works for me .........cheers.......

have you got a better pic of how youve done the hinge mate ,done something simalar with my laser light and put handle on filter so you just pull it and the filters down ,done the same as you with the three tabs on the striker filter and spayed the edge of the filter black so all the light goe,s forward .just got the striker after using laserlight for years and first time i used it turned it on and got that much backlight couldnt see for about 5 mins :D .£85 from deben and 15 for filter you expect better than that from a big company who make there money out of fieldsports ,just shows how much reserch is done on the products

Alright mate ,shouldn,t need to spray edge of filter,as long as you push it fully on with no glare before you hinge it....but your right they should think of a way to do the filters without the hassle and noise of when your taking them off..cheers.......
