yep a second hand break barrel or underleaver. Bsa,air arms and hw series are all goo. I have a bsa supersport which has done me very well. you can quite definatly get a decent springer for that price. Do you have a gun shop near by if so go and try them i also find the shops have very good advice also.

what a waste of time my trip to the gun shop, nothing for my £120 although he could for £170 second hand cometa with scopes, i left dissapointed, the guy couldnt sort me out for less than £120 without scopes & some of the rifles ive never even heard of, so im still looking , i must be expecting too much for my money.. ah well

Hey John,

Don't give up. the problem is that people who have guns like BSA Supersports lying in their gunsafes will probably hold on to them rather than selling them for £100ish.

Get yourself on to Guntrader.co.uk and look about on there. To be honest, I think you will get an excellent gun & scope for £150-£200, whereas you will be lucky to do it for £120. I can highly recommend a BSA Airsporter or supersport which will be in the £100-£150 price bracket.

One final note, I wouldn't bother with some of the cheap scope you see on the market for £10-£20. You can get yourself a superb Tasco or similar for £25-£30. Well worth the money.

Hope this helps
