I was just wandering if some one could tell me how to re wire my lamp to make it more reliable? it seems to go on and off at the most annoying times, i think it is the plug between the lamp and the batery, the one you would put into the lighter plug in your car.

I had the same problem mate, i pinched some cable from work 2.5mm i think, and crimped some spade terminals onto the end and wired it straight to the battery never had a problem that was two years ago

if its the ciggie lighter socket, push it all the way in and tape it up!

Wat i do mate is cut off the conection which goes in to the cig lighter and conect it directly to the lamp.I dont have no problams with that, used to have the same prob, nothing worse than runnig a dog or colling the old charlie in and the lamp fcuk up.

Mine used to do it it's the wire that's connected to the mettle nipple shaped bit that's attached to the cable to plug in my mate just put a load of solder on it it's ok now.

just use a normal charger with the crocodile clips.
