Night Hunter 109 Posted October 4, 2009 Report Share Posted October 4, 2009 Hi guys,i have been offered a Theoben Rapid 7 mk1 .22cal that comes with scope sling and bag,charging kit and both left and right handed stocks two seven shot mags it had all seals replaced two years ago and has had little use since then it is sitting on around 11.5-12ft/lbs ,The divers bottle is out of test now,i would like to draw on the wealth of knowledge on THL to find out how much it is worth and how much would it cost to get the bottle tested and filled ,also any good or bad points about the rapid 7, any usefull input would be greatly appreciated. cheers Tam Quote Link to post
SEAN3513 7 Posted October 4, 2009 Report Share Posted October 4, 2009 nothing bad to say about rapids....apart from the weight !!!!! gun only sell for around £450-500 (with scope, depends on quality of scope) bottle will be worth about £ (depending on size/press) stocks sell for around 70-100 quid hope that helps sean p.s.....i would highly reccomend you chrono it before buying it.....alot out there have been tampered with. Thanks for the info mate,apparently the gun was shooting at over 14.5ft/lbs and the guy had to get an RFD to pick it up from the police station and it had to be reset back to within the leagal limit but if i decide to buy it i could put it on my ticket and get it put up to fac by Theoben but not sure if it would be worth the hastle any ideas as to what it would cost to retest the bottle and have it refilled Quote Link to post

I've fixed about 3 on my mk2 so far and It's still not leak free Quote Link to post

Night Hunter 109 Posted October 5, 2009 Author Report Share Posted October 5, 2009 cheers for the info guys ,seemingly its one of the first original rapid 7 pre mk1 but it is still in great nick, ive checked the seals as best i can for now,still trying to get the bottle tested so that i can check with a full charge,might nip in to my local RFD to see if he will charge the buddy bottle for me,i think the seals are on ebay for £5 plus postage so if all else is fine then i will just replace all the seals myself then i know that they are all new....
