tynetyke 0
think i've got a wasp nest in the hedge i share with next door, went to cut the hedge this morning and after five minutes noticed about a dozen or more wasps halfway down flying about in the same spot. its hard to see into the hedge as it quite dense and dont really fancy rumaging through it lookin for a nest. so decided to get the dogs in and leave it for five, went back out for another look and there was only a couple this time so give the hedge a good whack with a rake and ran back in the house to observe from a window and they were back out in numbers any one have an idea how to get rid them any help would be useful thanks Quote Link to post

waidmann 105
if you can see the nest then wait untill the temperature drops and then put a bag over it( being sensible as to size,if you need a bin bag then get in a pro ). if in doubt just leave it a couple of days/weeks untill they die off through cold and get rid then. any bee keeper will be able to help if you know one. atb Quote Link to post

ratattack 111
Im sure a local pesty will be along soon. i wouldn't bother with it at this time of year, they will be dying off as the colder nights start killing them off. It's been there since may so a few more weeks won't do any harm. Quote Link to post
