snakes1989 1 Posted October 3, 2009 Report Share Posted October 3, 2009 hi i bought a staffy thinking he was pure , he is 17 monhs old and is skinny have tried everything to put weight on him without success and have had people ask me if cross with something like a wippet , he can run fast very fast( not just saying it because hes my dog but hes gotta be one of the fastest staffs i have ever know lol)he measures about 14 inches from paw to top of the shoulder and has a really high prey drive for rabbits . if anyone would be soo kind too give me there opions on if hes pure or cross i would be very greatfull ps been to the vet and they wernt sure either lol and sorry about the mess in the pictures just got back from ferreting lol Quote Link to post

meldino2005 39 Posted October 3, 2009 Report Share Posted October 3, 2009 my brother in law has a staffy x whippet and yours looks similar mate tbh. ive got 3 staffys and the one is 12 months old now and a very big dog. ill put a pic of him on here for you too see. if you do want a pure staffy my kc reg bitch is in pup now depending were your from. were hoping to have a few blues in the litter as we paid for a top blue stud. still looks a nice dog and if it likes the bunnys result the white one is now 12 months old but in pic around 9 and the brindle bitch is now 2 years old,shes the one now in pup Quote Link to post

Guest fence_hopper Posted October 4, 2009 Report Share Posted October 4, 2009 its how astafford should be like no musle on its hind legs its spine sticking out looking sorry for its self theres a diference between fit and in poor condition. i've had staffs myself they could jump 5 bar gates fences and they where built and fast. get some wormers down it better grub or more of it and plenty of exercise, its not the worst staf out there just needs more put into it buy the looks of things Quote Link to post
