joe14 98
soz to hear theyve been stolen Padlocks wont stop the theif if they are attached to hutchs..they would just kick them in if wood and mesh is the thin stuff, best off moving them into some type of outbuilding with an alarm on the door. The hounds are very vocal but it don't seem to make a difference Quote Link to post

liftboy1 0
After reading another post I crapped myself, I keep all my kit in a new shed, everything to do with hunting because I retreat to the shed to have my me time. And to think that scallywags are stealing ferrets then they would have a field day at mine. It`s sad that you cant have anything nice without the fact of the possibility of it getting stolen. Whats next? get youself a descent rottie or mastiff bull cross, it worked for me after getting intruders regularly over two weeks. they soon stopped, you can even kennel them with existing dogs for added security . as i say, worked for me. good luck with securing your place mate. Quixote 9
How about a couple of these mate? Completely legal, & if you inform Plod you have them set to deter thieves (especially if you've made reports about break-ins, & you make sure they're only likely to be triggered by the assholes) you'll be covered ok. Especially if you have a few signs dotted around the place............ I have a few of them, & by Christ they don't half make a bang! I reckon if your assholes get just one dose they'll be off for good. One word of warning though? If you decide to go down this route, I'd let your neighbours know you have them set, & let them know why. Plod isn't reknowned for his commonsense when it somes to deploying the ARV for 'gunshots' Quote Link to post
