GarryN 5
I've had breaks on a Collie X Greyhound and a Whippet, both went to pet homes after paying a lot of money. The collieX even went further and ripped all the muscle from her elbow on her front leg and the Vet took another £2000 to repair that I think it depends a lot on age and the individual as to whether its a repair or not. iceman001979 1,316
My lurcher broke his leg a while back and is now recovering, but all the dog boys around my way reacon iv wasted my money and time in getting him fixed, the vet said he would make 100% recovery because it was a clean break and because hes only 11months old so what are these lads on about ? iv worked lurchers for the best part of 15 years but have never had a dog break its leg before, just lucky i guess, so are these lads talking sense or shit ? whats your views on this. ATB TD u have till ask yourself is the vet a friend and [bANNED TEXT] u trust or just getting a few pound the dog is only a pup and his bones will get stronger l would swim him alot if yea can. alot off ppl just put a dog down and move on just look at a dog as a tool if u look after a dog a dog will look after u in my opinion. but some dogs do not come thought a break but its just time and prop lots off it fair play till yea fella not many like yea Quote Link to post
