Info needed on spring AirGun

Recommended Posts

Evening all. I'm after some info on an air rifle that our lasses dad has. He's had it donkeys years, was given to him and it's just been in shed at allotment but he's brought it up for me to clean up as there is some rust on the barrel.

Anyway all the info on the gun is: seriese 70 model 77 made in great britain.

Oh and it's .22 quite a short gun, not being cut down it's more of a carbine.

I stick some pics us as soon as I can.

Anyway if anyone has any info I would realy like to find out as much as I can.

Cheers, paddy.

Just been looking on the tinterweb and by the looks of it, it was made by diana in the early 70's

but this is only what I have gatherd from a diana model 78 and 79.

Air rifles left in sheds are a bad subject at the moment as a 10 year old boy lost his life through his mates finding one in a shed a few days ago in Wales. Im sure someone will be able to help you soon though mate. Just dont go putting it back in the shed for god sake.

Yeah I read that in the paper very sad. It won't be going back in the shed, well it's more like fort Knox haha (I'm not saying that to defend it being kept on the shed.

Cheers pal
