nod 285
When using a deer stop on a rabbit snare how would this work, obviously a rabbit has a smaller neck than a cat or deer so how would the snare catch a rabbit and close enough to hold it, but not a deer, i'm confused Quote Link to post
Holdaway 2
The deer stop on a rabbit snare is set at 6 inches. This closes enough to hold a rabbit without killing it and also preventing the death of cats etc. A deer stepping into the noose should be able to walk free as the noose which will not close fully will simply slide off the animals leg. Snareman has measured dozens of these animals in all kinds of situations and has come up with what we hope will be a standard for the future. All the best H Quote Link to post
