thanks people but one thing i cant understand is if a dog worries a sheep the farmers in his right to shoot it so why not a cat on chickens

cos the worlds fecked up mate,if you let your dog out everynight to go around the streets killing things like birds, rabbits, voles mice reptiles etc youd have your dog taken off you and banned from keeping dogs, yet 99% of cat owners do this everynight  its fecking ridiculous if i had my way id round up every cat in britain and send em all to korea and convince the locals they taste twice as good as dog ;)

It's legal to shoot feral cats tho'. And if poor lickle pussykins turns out to be a pet . . . Use a centrefire and there'll be nowt left but fur and guts. Or there was this mate of mine, he was seriously allergic to cats. Used to go cat lamping with a SBS 12 bore. Not sure what shot size he used but he killed a lot of cats. That was a few years back, I was more interested in pussy . . .

Why would anyone want to "hunt cats" id go through my dogs if they killed a cat i have 2 and well aware theyre not angels and given half the chance they will kill small furry or feathered things. Why not make more effort securing the chooks and making sure the cat cant get in or live trap them and hand them to the local rescue.I dont like lhasa apsos doesnt mean id go looking to do them harm though. My male is a cat chaser and did so the other night and lucky enough he didnt catch it i was mortified apologised to the very reasonable owner of the cat and gave him hell.My bitch aint interested knows fine well therye not allowed and are "isnts"

HOW DARE YOU. I've owned Lhasa Apsos for a large part of my life and they are WONDERFUL little dogs. Bloody bright, hard as nails and so protective.. I just wish you had met my last Apso bitch. She was just turned 18 when she died. When we adopted a kitten Ishtar came into milk for it! Fed the damn cat! When Catlet was about three a cat from down the road had a go at her. I let Ishtar out and she beat the living bejasus out of this evil moggie. Our cat was her baby but any other cat was Non Persona Grata. She also took out a 90 lb Dobie, but that's another story. . .

I once asked a mate of mine if he could train my Apsos to the gun. He looked at Ishtar and said "Hm.m,m. She'd make a good pull-through for a 12 bore". B'staard
