hi i've got a s200 in .22 calibre, i've had it on my mates chrono today and it's shooting very erratic to say the least!!! differing from 10ft lbs to 6ftlbs from shot to shot eventually after a full pump up it started off shooting at about 4ft lbs !!!! i put 200 bar in it it also moves the bolt when shot! i've had nothing but problem's with this gun doe's anyone know what could be wrong with this? and can anybody reccomend a gunsmith in the birmingham or midlands to sort it out cheers

you'll find it works best at just below 170bar down to about 100 bar

itys like a safety valve that when its fully :download: charged it wont let the true reading / psi out until you get below the safe working pressure.

someone esle maybe able to explain better.

i know what i mean lol but can put it in to words lol :icon_redface::sorry: :tongue4:

As mentioned above my S200's sweet spot is 175 down to about 100 (gives about 40 good shots at 10.75ish ft/lbs)

Filling to above that will not provide accurate or even consistant readings. Once into its sweet spot on the power curve they level out greatly and shot to shot consistancy is great as well.

As for the bolt blowing back that can only happen as far as I am aware when the bolt is not locked down (unless there is a physical brakage in the locking mechanism).

But I know from experiance that if your thumb tip is close to the end of the bolt when it does come back (with a hell of a bang) it :realmad: :censored: :realmad: Hurts BIG time

Try It at a lower fill pressure say 170 or even 150 like WXM says. At hig pressures the hammer doesn't have enough energy to open the valve when the fill pressure Is too high which leads to lower power. What's the shot to shot consitency like at lower bar fill pressures?
