Whos a member of the BASC ? What benifit do you get from being a member ie dose it help get you more permission ect ?

 

 

been a member a year today,and have had no help in getting permission.

its up to you!! to get it?

I ment will the insurance part of the membership be benifical, are you more likley to get permission with it ? Cheers migmog.

oh yes in deed!! whether its basc or any other, once you have insurance then you stand a better chance in getting it,

it shows responsible shooting buddy

personally i wouldn't shoot without insurance........its a must...imo

 

i have BASC simply because i have SGC and FAC as well as air rifles, and its needed for membership of some wildfowling clubs.

 

BASA is perfect (and cheaper) for air guns only.

The BASC is a large organisation with over 100 years experience and they know their stuff.

 

In this day and age where someone is likely to sue you for millions (and win) if you sneeze too close to them, then shooting insurance does really seem a necessity. :thumbs:

i believe there is also a THL group discount scheme with BASC but cannot find it '

I emailed the guy who is responsible for it (twice). No reply at all from him :thumbdown:

 

So BASC lost a sale and I went to BASA.

I would'nt bother with basc too expensive compared to its rivals for insurance, try countryside alliance or scottish association for countrysports. My friend(under 25) got insurance from countryside alliance for £15, bargain!
