Recommended Posts

any body ever tried or known working bull terriers, know they have problems with their hearts but just wondered what they worked like with drawing etc

going off the subject a bit there. this fella works ok. no probs with his heart. can get a bit of a handfull now and again.

exaggeration is not all bad as long as the breed is fit and free from known negative hereditory defects. thats how we recognize the different breeds.( by the exaggerated look)
thats what you call a dog

exxageration is bad if it impairs working ability

if it wasnt for exxageration a greyhound wouldnt look like a greyhound or would any other breed look like they do for that matter.

that's not exxageration, that's form.

exxageration is taking a dog w/ reverse scissor or tight undershot and breeding it to a severe undershot to the point it cannot hold well despite having the drive to try. for example the english bulldog & the american show lines of bullmastiff & english mastiff or the extreme examples of johnson american bulldog. and yes exxageration can define a breed such as the korean dosa which is basically a japanese tosa bred w/ a focus on extreme wrinkles. another example of exxageration is the coat on the afghan hound which impairs it's ability to run game especially when compared to the original coat which was similar to the borzoi & tazi.
