I had a dog called Newt When i lived in forest gate east london knew someone with a dog calle 'adolf hitler' adolf for short, the woman got given the dog just as long as she kept the name, sick joke i think, if you have ever been to forest gate you will know that name wont go down too well there. When i brought my niece a border terrier pup for her 5th birthday a few years ago . . . . she was allowed to name her . . . . "Shakeira" was the name of choice! Loads of people were calling their dogs Tyson in the late ,s.....then quickly changed the dogs name in the 90,s A lad i used to know named all his dogs after heavyweight boxing champions....ali,floyd,sonny....even a bruno !
