hello, just started out coarse fishing and im wondering what the best recipe is for carp boilies

i have tryed self raising flour , porridge and eggs

i got a couple of bites with them but no catches yet

if you wana make your own boilies mate you gota buy a special mix...

you can make your own pellet paste never failed with me

i used to get halibut nd trout pellts fill a pot up with hot water and wait for the pellets to be soaked crush them then and it becomes a paste.. ad my secret recipe (cajun spice) works a treat..

making your own boilies isnt always the best idea as its cheaper to buy tbh..

i made some more a couple of nights ago and mixed

ground dog biscuits , poridge , selfraising flour and eggs

then put them on a tray when they were drying and put some cajun spice on them

You need to add the spice to the mix, not sprinkle it on when there drying...buy a bag of tried and tested tuttie fruttie wont go far wrong ideal for a beginner

I tried making my own and put a post up a few months ago about making boilies and i just found that even though i caught my PB tench on them i was getting better results by using dynamite brand boilies.

i used to make boilies all the time years back but have fell out of the carp game now,talking to me brother in law only the other day he recons just go for shop bought you wont go wrong ang hes fishing all over uk and abroud.

personally best boilies i would recommend is fusion boilies

get the frozen ones.. keep fresher for longer..

i got it from hazel court lakes

its only a small ghosty.. i normally fish a private lakee which has got countless 25 + in theree..

and your not alound to use boilies..

tbh boilies bit over rates get on the halibut pellets when fishing day time waters..
