Guest jono
Hello, Im a sheep farmer from North Yorks (someone has to be- I can almost hear the sheepshagger comments now!)) - therefore dont like foxes too much! I have always been around dogs - mainly border collies for sheep work, but have also always kept a terrier or two & a running dog for the foxes. I dont profess to be an expert on terriers or lurchers but I do need them to be effective! & have been lucky in that respect up to now. this looks a really good board (not that I have much experience of them!) & I hope to learn a lot. all the best to everyone. Guest jono
:welcomeani: what sort of terriers and running dog you got. I have two patterdale/fell types one old Buck/Breay lines, & one old Nuttall lines, the Buck/Breay is sensible, & the Nuttall quite hard. lurcher wise I have a deerhound/greyhound X bull/greyhound, & I have a 6month old picardy sheepdog/greyhound - I dont need anything too fast (dont chase "big" rabbits) need something robust & reliable for rough moorland etc...& will turn foxes into shrapnel.
