Looks like they are in the shade there.

Having said that, there also looks like something that could be a pile of rabbits right in front of the middle tree. Just a few feet out.

Its common sense ,it was a very hot day ,where would the rabbits be ?my Mrs knew,a boy scout would know,theres only one part of that picture where those rabbits could be,there not easy to spot ,but if you use your eyes ,and think ,you might spot them.
