rushty 1
Just bought my new gun . Wheirauch 100 S. I asked at the shop about fitting a bi pod and the guy says no probs, however when he takes the stock off he shows me that the stock is thin and might cause a problem in the future. Has any one had a bi pod fitted to this gun, cheers Ted. Quote Link to post

SEAN3513 7
take the stock off..........fit the stud....if it comes through (which it might, only slightly), file it down flush with the wood cover it with some pvc tape, put stock back on....job done !! the position of the stud is down to personal choice........i would reccomend about 3-4 inches from the front of the forend. cheers sean Quote Link to post

davyt63 1,845
hi vizslahpr i dont know who told you that buddy? but thats crap!! but its a simple switch of studs.the one which is on there now is flush, this you just take out with a aalun key and replace with the new bi-pod/sling stud, its as simple as that.you have to get the right stud though you cant put any old stud in there it has to be threaded so the answer to your question is yes its ok! hope this helps regards davy Quote Link to post
davyt63 1,845
right lads!! here is what you need the stud on the left is the replacement stud which you can get from maskells, the one on the right is the original stud. just switch them over, this stud you can fix a sling! to or a bipod! then the bipod has a stud on it to fix ya sling to simples!! regards davy Quote Link to post
